St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Norma Foundation helped to sponsor the first annual Ashland St. Patrick’s Day Parade! A few of the festivities going on downtown throughout the day were: in store deals on green attire and green products, green window decorations, and Irish inspired dishes and drinks available at the restaurants. Each lamp post downtown was covered in green balloons and decorations as well as Irish flags. The most exciting parts of downtown were the giant inflatable leprechaun and the dyed green river! People came for pictures next to them all day!

People started flooding the streets 15 minutes before the parade in order to get a good spot! The parade had everything from Irish bred dogs to men in kilts! After the parade, everyone gathered in Foundation Plaza for music and pictures! The first annual Ashland St. Patrick’s day parade was a success and we look forward to it getting even bigger over the years to come!
